Legal advice and safety skills for nearly 200 union members and workers

In order to improve legal knowledge and life skills for workers, the Tien Phong Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Consulting and Support Center (BOL) to organize a propaganda conference at Dehuida Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd.

Attending the conference were comrades: Pham Thanh Hai - Director of the Provincial Trade Union's Workers' Advice and Support Center; Dinh Thi Kim Ngan - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Safety Science Education Joint Stock Company; Ngo Quyet Thang - Chairman of Tien Phong Ward's Trade Union; representatives of the Company's Board of Directors, the Executive Board of the grassroots Trade Union and nearly 200 union members and workers.

At the conference, comrade Phi Van Nguyen - expert of the Department of Communications, Provincial Social Insurance - disseminated important regimes and policies on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. Workers are also instructed on how to use the VssID application - a digital social insurance application on smartphones, helping to manage insurance information conveniently.

Many questions from union members about the conditions for receiving pension benefits, unemployment insurance benefits, death benefits, etc. were answered appropriately and in detail by representatives of the Provincial Social Insurance.

In addition to legal content, workers are also equipped with practical skills to protect themselves. Comrade Le Dac Thuan - Deputy Head of Training Department of Vietnam Safety Science Education Joint Stock Company - imparted first aid skills in case of work accidents, traffic accidents and safe escape in case of fire and explosion.

This is extremely important knowledge, helping workers be more proactive in handling emergency situations, protecting their health and lives as well as those of their colleagues.

To make the propaganda session more exciting and effective, the organizing committee also integrated exchange activities and answered questions to learn about the Labor Code and the Trade Union Law. Those who answered correctly received meaningful gifts from the organizers.

Through the program, workers not only have a better grasp of legal regulations to protect their legitimate rights but are also equipped with the necessary skills to work safely, contributing to building a healthy and sustainable working environment.
