Social insurance policy consultation for more than 200 farmer members in Hai Phong

At the conference, farmers listened to reporters from the city's social insurance agency disseminate the basic contents and new points of the revised Social Insurance Law and the revised Health Insurance Law effective from July 1, 2025; disseminate the rights and responsibilities when participating in social insurance and health insurance, especially the contribution level, benefit level and support level from the state budget and the Hai Phong City budget when participating in voluntary social insurance. Many members boldly shared their opinions, raised questions about the superiority and practical benefits of social security policies and were answered promptly. After the conference, more than 20 members registered to participate in voluntary social insurance.

Notably, within the framework of the program, Hai Phong City Social Insurance has deployed a "voluntary social insurance and household health insurance policy consultation booth". Thereby, helping people better understand social insurance and health insurance policies while also creating conditions for each farmer member to become a "connector" to convey information to families, villages and residential areas, contributing to spreading the message: voluntarily participate in social insurance for a stable life.

Mr. Vu Duc Khien - Deputy Director of the City Social Insurance emphasized that social insurance and health insurance are two pillar policies in the social security system, organized by the state to ensure the rights and stabilize the lives of the people. In recent years, the City Social Insurance has always closely coordinated with socio-political organizations, including the City Farmers' Association, to bring the policy closer to the people, especially in rural areas, freelance workers, towards the goal of social insurance and health insurance for all people.

The Deputy Director of the City Social Insurance recommends that Farmers' Association at all levels continue to promote its role as a bridge, strengthen propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize members and people to clearly understand their rights and responsibilities when participating in social insurance and health insurance. Expanding coverage not only contributes to better protecting the right to security of each individual but also creates a solid foundation to promote sustainable socio-economic development. At the same time, the City Social Insurance always accompanies and supports in a timely manner during the implementation process, contributing to improving the quality of service for people to be more professional and effective.
