Many enterprises in Lam Dong are trained on new regulations on social insurance

On November 10, many businesses in Ham Thang ward (Lam Dong province) were updated with knowledge related to policies and laws on Social Insurance (SI), Health Insurance (HI), and Unemployment Insurance (UI).

The program is organized by Ham Thang Social Insurance (under Lam Dong Social Insurance).

Ham Thang ward is an area with many enterprises with a large number of workers. In recent years, employers have focused on salary and bonus regimes and participated in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for employees. However, the implementation process still has many problems.

At the program, businesses better understand their responsibility to pay social insurance, comply with regulations and ensure social security rights for employees.

The Social Insurance Agency has explained the key new points of the Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15. Especially the contents directly related to workers' rights such as sick leave, maternity, retirement, etc.

Enterprises are also propagandized about penalties for late payment and evasion of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance.

Many business representatives have raised questions about how to determine salary and working days to participate in social insurance; problems in electronic transactions; health insurance benefits, problems in resolving social insurance regimes, etc.

Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Lam Dong Social Insurance said that coordinating with relevant agencies such as the police, People's Committees of wards, communes... in collecting social insurance payment debts, overcoming all acts of late payment and evasion is very important to ensure the rights of employees.

In addition, social insurance agencies at the grassroots level need to support businesses in electronic transactions and digital transformation in implementing administrative procedures, contributing to the effective implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the area.
