Lesson norms for teachers holding the position of director of continuing education institutions
Lesson norms for 1 year for teachers holding the position of director of continuing education institutions are guided in Circular 04/2026/TT-BGDĐT.
Article 8 of Circular 04/2026/TT-BGDĐT stipulates:
Article 8. Lesson norms for teachers holding positions of director and deputy director
1. The norm of teaching hours in 1 school year for the director is 8% of the norm of teaching hours in 1 school year for teachers teaching the continuing education program. The norm of teaching hours in 1 school year for the deputy director is 10% of the norm of teaching hours in 1 school year for teachers teaching the continuing education program.
2. In case a continuing education institution does not have a director, the teaching norms of the deputy director assigned to be in charge of the continuing education institution shall be implemented according to regulations for the director.
3. Directors and deputy directors are not allowed to use reduced or converted teaching hours to replace the teaching hour norms specified in Clause 1 of this Article.
4. When teaching enough teaching hours specified in Clause 1 of this Article, the director and deputy director are applied the regulations in Article 11 of this Circular to calculate the total number of teaching hours when calculating the number of extra teaching hours.
Thus, the lesson norm in 1 year for teachers holding the position of director is 8% of the lesson norm in 1 school year for teachers teaching the continuing education program.
