Lao Cai Police deploy a model of Workers to propagate crime prevention and control

According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, workers and laborers are the core force promoting local socio-economic development. However, in the context of strong digital integration and transformation, this is also a group of subjects that are vulnerable to and lured by all kinds of crimes and social evils, especially high-tech fraud, drug crimes and cybersecurity violations.
Recognizing that risk, Lao Cai Provincial Police have coordinated with Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union to deploy many activities to propagate the law, build a self-defense and self-management model at the grassroots level, contributing to creating a safe production and business environment and protecting the legitimate rights of workers.
The model "Workers propagating crime prevention and control" developed by the Economic Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police is considered a practical solution, promoting the shocking role of workers in proactively preventing, detecting and fighting crimes and social evils in industrial parks and enterprises.
The workforce is trained in skills, becoming an important bridge between the police force and workers, promptly spreading legal information and warning about new methods and tricks of crime, especially in the fields of economy, cyber security and high-tech crime.
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Duc Thien (Economic Security Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police) emphasized: The development of a self-defense and self-management model at the grassroots level is extremely necessary, contributing to maintaining security from the grassroots level, raising awareness of workers and enterprises, and strengthening the connection between the government, enterprises and workers. When the working force is trained and closely coordinated with the police force, it will create a solid shield to protect businesses, stabilize production and develop the socio-economy".
