Lao Cai Trade Union accompanies Giay Ruian workers after storm No. 10
Lao Cai - Not only grasping the situation after the storm, the Trade Union also presented meaningful gifts, demonstrating companionship and practical care for workers.
On October 2, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province organized a working delegation to visit, encourage workers and grasp the production and employment situation after storm No. 10.
The working delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, with leaders of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union and grassroots trade union officials.
At the meeting, the delegation directly surveyed and discussed with the company's leaders about the production situation and employment of workers after natural disasters; and visited and shared with union members and workers whose families were affected by storms.
In order to encourage the spirit, the Trade Union Board of Lao Cai Industrial Parks presented 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to workers in especially difficult circumstances.
Although the gifts have little material value, they contain a sense of sharing, demonstrating the timely concern and care of the Trade Union organization, helping workers to be more motivated to overcome difficulties and feel secure in sticking with the enterprise.
On the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13), the working delegation also visited and congratulated the Board of Directors of Ruian Vietnam Shoes Company Limited.
On behalf of the group, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat expressed his gratitude to the company's leaders for always paying attention to the jobs, lives and welfare of workers.
At the same time, he acknowledged the positive contributions of enterprises in creating jobs for thousands of local workers, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.
Speaking at the visit, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat affirmed: The Trade Union always accompanies and shares with businesses and workers.
Practical care for union members and workers is not only a responsibility but also a sentiment of the Union towards the labor force, who are directly contributing to the development of enterprises and the province.
This visit and encouragement activity clearly demonstrated the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the legitimate and legal interests of union members and workers.
Along with that, it is to honor the role of the business community and entrepreneurs in the sustainable development of Lao Cai province.
This is also a practical activity that the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union Board has implemented, towards the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, towards the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
