Building many Trade Union Shelters for disadvantaged workers in Thai Nguyen

On November 4, according to information from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor, the unit is implementing a plan to build 6 Trade Union Shelters and support the repair of 1 house for union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances.

These are the works to celebrate the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province and the 1st Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.

The projects were started and completed in October and November 2025, with a total support of 390 million VND from the Social Fund of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union. Each newly built house is supported with 60 million VND, a repaired house is supported with 30 million VND.

This activity aims to practically care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. Contributing to helping them stabilize their housing, work with peace of mind, and stick with the trade union organization. The supported cases are all union members in especially difficult circumstances, working at grassroots unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor.

The groundbreaking and support for the construction of the "Union Shelter" house not only has the meaning of helping union members have a stable place to live, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the affection, responsibility and sharing of union organizations at all levels towards workers.

The "Union Shelter" program has become a humanitarian activity for many years, spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual love among workers, civil servants and laborers. Each house that has been started and completed is the joy and happiness of the union members' families. At the same time, it is a vivid testament to the role and position of the trade union organization in accompanying and caring for workers.
