Thai Nguyen - The Trade Union Shelter helps workers in difficult circumstances soon stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.

On October 30, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a "Union Shelter" for union member Le Thi Tuyet in Thanh Cong commune.

This is an activity to celebrate the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province (term 2025-2030) and the 1st Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union (term 2025-2030).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Doan Manh Thang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union; Mr. Kim Jin Cheol - Deputy General Director of SEVT Company; representatives of local Party committees, authorities, SEVT Trade Union and union members' families.

Ms. Le Thi Tuyet (born in 1995), a worker at SEVT Company since 2018. Due to difficult family circumstances, she and her son currently do not have their own house, living at the house where their parents gave birth to them and their brother.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 60 million VND, the Company and the SEVT Trade Union supported an additional 15 million VND to help Ms. Tuyet's family soon have a new, spacious house and stabilize their lives.

Ms. Le Thi Tuyet shared: I am really happy and moved to receive attention and help from the Trade Union and SEVT Company. This house has been my family's long-standing dream. I will try to work better to be worthy of everyone's attention and support."

The "Union Shelter" project of union member Le Thi Tuyet is the first project in the plan to simultaneously build 6 "Union Shelters" and support the repair of 1 house for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The activity has practical significance, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and concern of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers. At the same time, it is a project to celebrate the major congresses of Thai Nguyen province in the coming time.
