Awarding Trade Union Shelters to union members in difficult circumstances
Gia Lai - The Trade Union Shelter helps union members of the hydropower company feel secure in their lives, serving production workers to provide electricity for economic development.
On October 22, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union in coordination with the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 2 and An Khe - Ka Nak Hydropower Company held a ceremony to attach a "Union Shelter" sign to the house of Mr. Dang Van Hoan - a union member of the Repair Workshop Trade Union.
Attending the sign-on ceremony were Mr. Uong Quang Huy - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union; Nguyen Van Ngo - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Power generation Corporation 2; Nguyen Minh Khu - Director of An Khe - Ka Nak Hydropower Company.
The "Union Shelter" house of union member Dang Van Hoan started construction in March 2025, and has now been completed and put into use.
The house has an area of 120 m2, with a total construction cost of 520 million VND. Of which, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
On this occasion, the Corporation's Trade Union presented the family with some household items to serve essential needs in life.
