Tran Yen Trade Union supports 2,160 gifts for union members in difficult circumstances

After reorganizing administrative units and streamlining the apparatus, the Tran Yen Commune Trade Union manages 24 grassroots unions with 1,294 union members. The average income of employees at enterprises is about 6.5 million VND/person/month.

Trade unions at all levels have synchronously implemented activities to care for and protect the rights of union members; effectively organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", Workers' Month, presented and supported over 2,160 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; supported the construction of 5 "Union Shelters".

The development of the organization achieved positive results with 3 newly established grassroots unions, 100 union members admitted, 10/11 targets assigned by the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor were completed and exceeded the plan.

In 2026, the Tran Yen Commune Trade Union determined the goal of continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation; focusing on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in non-state enterprises; improving the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting workers' rights; promoting digital transformation, competing for good labor, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels.

At the conference, Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit of the Provincial Federation of Labor to 2 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization; exemplary in the cultural - artistic movement in 2025.
