Thai Nguyen Trade Union adds strength to workers suffering from dangerous diseases

Thai Nguyen - Many meaningful gifts were given to workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases in the province.

On June 1st, Ms. Do Thi Hien - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases in the province.

At TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, the working delegation presented 13 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases. Each gift is worth 1.2 million VND, including gifts worth 200,000 VND and 1 million VND in cash.

The working delegation also visited a case of a worker of An Khanh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company who is being treated for illness and is facing many difficulties in life.

At the places visited, Ms. Do Thi Hien cordially inquired about the health, life and work of workers; and encouraged families to maintain an optimistic spirit, actively treat illnesses, overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The gifts presented, although not large in material terms, show the concern and sharing of the trade union organization with union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

Visiting and encouraging activities are regular activities of Thai Nguyen provincial trade union levels to promptly support and add motivation for union members and workers to feel secure in treating diseases, rise up in life and stick with businesses.
