According to the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union, the total budget for Tet care of the entire industry in the 2023-2025 period will reach over 20 billion VND.

On January 21, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union (VTC) said that in the 2023-2025 period, the VTC and its affiliated unions have focused on performing well the function of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

Activities to visit and give gifts to workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month; support the construction and repair of "Union Shelter", give savings books to workers; support people and support workers affected by natural disasters, floods... have been implemented practically and effectively. The total amount spent on the above activities at industry unions is more than 7 billion VND, at union levels is more than 31.5 billion VND.
