Over 200 workers participate in dialogue with Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee
Hanoi - On the afternoon of May 28, over 200 workers participated and gave their opinions at the Dialogue between the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee and workers in the capital in 2025.
This is an activity organized by the People's Committee and the Hanoi Labor Union, taking place under the chairmanship: Tran Sy Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Pham Quang Thanh - Member of the Presidium of VGCL, Chairman of Hanoi Labor Federation. Vice Chairman of VGCL Ngo Duy Hieu attended.
The groups of issues that workers are interested in through the synthesis of the Trade Union organization include: Social housing, housing for workers; schools for workers' children; health care, health, Social Insurance, food safety; training, fostering, improving skills; supporting businesses.
Leaders of departments, branches and sectors will answer questions and suggestions from workers.
According to the report of the City Labor Federation on the situation of life, employment, labor relations and recommendations and proposals of workers in the capital in 2025, with the spirit of striving to overcome difficulties; although production and business still face many difficulties, most businesses still try to ensure wages and benefits for workers.
In the first quarter of 2025, the average income of workers will be 7.7 million VND/month (an increase of 7.35% over the same period in 2024). However, with the above income of workers still not meeting the requirements, especially for workers working in industrial parks, export processing zones... because workers have to bear many costs, such as renting a house, childcare, prices of some consumer goods increased...
Here, 50 workers in difficult circumstances will receive gifts on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025.
