Mr. Suu Van Tinh (27 years old, from Ca Mau) said that he and his family returned to Ho Chi Minh City and contacted company officials to grasp the work schedule. "I work at the company with an income of about 12 million VND per month. During Tet, I received a bonus of 10 million VND, and in the year-end lucky draw program, I won 8 million VND. The company also gave Tet gifts and shopping vouchers to go to the 0 VND market. Thanks to that, we returned to our hometown to celebrate a very fulfilling Tet, welcoming the new year very excitedly. After Tet, my family returned to Ho Chi Minh City early to be ready to enter the factory to participate in production" - Mr. Suu Van Tinh shared.
Similarly, Ms. Vo Thi De's family (46 years old, from Can Tho) has returned to Ho Chi Minh City. Ms. De informed that last month she had an income of more than 30 million VND, thanks to which she celebrated a peaceful Tet. "Hopefully in the new year, the company will continue to have many orders to create jobs and stable income for workers" - Ms. De expressed.
While workers are on Tet holiday, many businesses are making efforts to find orders and prepare to organize production after Tet. Representatives of the company informed that business leaders are currently participating in exhibitions in the field of kitchen cabinets in the US, and at the same time, businesses are negotiating and signing new orders to create more jobs for workers.
According to Mr. Dao Quang Tho, currently the enterprise has a factory in Tan Hiep ward with more than 1,000 workers and a factory in Binh Co ward with more than 300 workers. To meet the demand for production labor for orders, in 2026, the company is recruiting 250 more workers. Current orders ensure jobs and stable income for workers from 8-14 million VND/month.
On the Trade Union's side, according to Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots trade union, during the recent Tet holiday, the unit coordinated with businesses to organize many activities to care for and stabilize the lives of workers.
We have tried to take care of ensuring that all workers have a full Tet. In the new year, workers promise to return fully to participate in production according to the factory's plan" - Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots trade union shared.
Welcoming workers back to Ho Chi Minh City
After Tet, buses continue to pick up workers returning to the factory. Notably, the "Meaningful Bus Trip" program of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Di An ward, Ho Chi Minh City) organized 6 sleeper buses to pick up 240 workers returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the company's grassroots trade union, to take care of workers far from home, every year the company organizes bus trips to take workers home for Tet, in order to create convenience for workers to travel, reduce costs and save an extra amount of money. This year, the company's bus trips organize to take 240 workers home for Tet on February 13 and return to Ho Chi Minh City on February 22. Currently, bus trips in Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai and Dak Lak have welcomed workers and are on their way back to Ho Chi Minh City.
