HCMC - The Trade Union and the authorities of Thuan Giao Ward have stepped in to resolve the case of 100 workers stopping work and requesting to improve the quality of meals.
On the afternoon of October 21, images of about 100 workers stopping work and demanding to improve the quality of meals were circulating online.
Talking to reporters, the Thuan Giao Ward Union said that the incident occurred at T.T. Company Limited in Thuan Giao Ward, Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of October 20.
There are 100 workers who do not work and leave. Workers reported to the enterprise and asked the cafeteria to improve the quality of meals.
After the incident, the Trade Union coordinated with the enterprise to meet and agree on a solution with the workers. Meals must be done properly and food hygiene and safety must be ensured. For the 100 workers who quit on the afternoon of October 20, they will be counted as annual leave, the remaining workers will be marked as normal.
The Thuan Giao Ward Labor Union said that by October 21, all workers had returned to work. The labor relations situation here has stabilized.
Currently, the Thuan Giao Ward Trade Union is continuing to monitor to guide the grassroots trade union to implement measures to protect the rights of workers.
