Early occupational disease prevention for industrial park workers
Lam Dong improves a safe working environment, controlling the risk of occupational diseases for workers in industrial parks.
On December 16, the Lam Dong Provincial Center for Disease Control ( facility 1) said that the unit is coordinating with many enterprises in Phan Thiet Industrial Park and medical units to implement training to improve workers' health and prevent occupational diseases.
"The focus is not only on disseminating knowledge but also on improving the capacity to self-manage occupational hygiene in enterprises. When businesses understand correctly and do the right thing, workers will be better protected right at the workplace" - the Center's leader emphasized.

One of the contents emphasized in the training sessions was legal regulations related to occupational hygiene, responsibility for monitoring the working environment and reporting obligations according to regulations.
Fully implementing the steps of risk assessment, statistics, and monitoring of workers' health helps businesses proactively prevent risks, instead of only handling them when incidents occur.

At the same time, businesses are instructed to promptly identify risk factors in the working environment such as dust, noise, chemicals, etc. Thereby, developing preventive measures suitable for each industry and each production location.
The organization of periodic health check-ups and occupational disease detection examinations for workers is also emphasized.

In addition, standardizing the process of recording, managing health records, and reporting on the working environment helps businesses better control the health status of workers, while meeting state management requirements on labor safety.
In the context of many businesses in Phan Thiet Industrial Park accelerating production at the end of the year, great work pressure can easily lead to the risk of accidents and occupational diseases if the working environment is not strictly controlled.
Therefore, improving the quality of occupational hygiene is not only a legal responsibility but also a direct factor that determines the productivity, stability and sustainable development of enterprises.
