More than 3,200 shipbuilders determined to ensure safe labor on the first working day of the year
Khanh Hoa - On the first working day of 2026, businesses and workers jointly launched a labor safety campaign, setting a revenue target of 700 million USD.
On January 2, 2026, HD Hyundai Vietnam (HVS) held a New Year's celebration ceremony and launched a labor safety movement in 2026.
More than 3,200 workers and laborers working at the factory participated.
According to Mr. Jin Sang Ho - General Director of HVS, in 2025, the company has synchronously implemented many activities to improve occupational safety and hygiene.
Of which, HVS has organized 17 occupational safety and hygiene training courses with 2,607 participants; 4,350 workers are educated through occupational safety models.
In 2025, HVS maintains the "3 no's" target including: no fatal work accidents, no serious work accidents and no serious injuries. The whole company recorded 8 minor work accidents, 8 people suffered minor injuries.
Notably, in August 2025, HVS officially achieved ISO9001:2015 - Environmental Management System certification. This is a testament to the efforts of businesses in applying environmental management standards according to international practices, meeting legal requirements and towards sustainable development.
At the same time, HVS is also recognized with ISO 45001 certification - international standard on occupational safety and health management systems (OH&S), contributing to improving working conditions, protecting the health of employees and stakeholders.
Mr. Jin Sang Ho emphasized that 2026 will enter a 30-year journey of formation and development of HVS. This is not only the time to look back on the achievements, but also a milestone for the company to make new commitments for the next development stage.
That is the goal of becoming a factory that puts safety first, a reliable address for quality and working environment.

Each worker regularly checks safety before starting work and complies with basic disciplinary order. At the same time, commit to preventing environmental pollution, protecting the natural environment and making efforts to create a comfortable workplace.
Entering 2026, HVS company aims to sign contracts to build 17 new ships, hand over 12 ships and strive to achieve a revenue of 700 million USD. To date, HVS has successfully delivered 197 ships to ship owners around the world.
