Fire prevention and fighting drill for workers at the facility
HCMC - Organizing the drill aims to raise awareness skills for workers, contributing to ensuring fire safety in the area.
On January 8, DIC Group Trade Union said that employees of DIC Tourism Joint Stock Company (member unit) actively participated in the fire prevention and fighting drill program organized by the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 24 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police), CSJ Tower Building Management Board (Tam Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), and related units.
According to the hypothetical situation, the fire occurred on the 2nd floor of the building due to technical problems with electrical equipment, leading to a fire outbreak, with a high risk of spreading the fire. Immediately, the automatic fire fighting system was activated, 20 members of the CSJ Tower Fire Prevention and Rescue Team quickly deployed initial handling measures, instructed customers and employees in the building to exit the escape routes, and notified the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 24 sent 18 officers and soldiers along with vehicles, coordinated with Tam Thang Ward Police and related professional forces to quickly arrive at the scene to deploy a plan to control the fire, rescue victims, protect property and prevent the fire from spreading.

Following the command, the force approached and simultaneously deployed water spraying at high pressure, covering the fire area, quickly controlling and extinguishing the fire. At the same time, spray water to cool down and prevent the risk of a new outbreak.
According to the DIC Group Trade Union, the drill aims to improve the coordination, techniques, and fire fighting tactics of the facility. Thereby, improving skills and sense of responsibility in fire prevention and fighting in on-site forces and collective labor in the building; spreading the movement "All people participate in fire prevention and fighting and rescue" contributing to ensuring security, order and fire safety in the area.
