Mao Khe Coal Company trains more than 200 workers on fire prevention and fighting

Quang Ninh Mao Khe Coal Company has just coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to organize a fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue training course.

As a coal mining unit with a management area of more than 40km2 and a system of factories and warehouses with potential fire and explosion risks, Mao Khe Coal Company - TKV identifies improving the response capacity of on-site forces as a mandatory and urgent requirement.

This training program aims to meet legal regulations, strengthen situation handling skills, enhance workers' reflection and sense of responsibility in ensuring production safety.

The training course is organized in a focused form, combining theory and practice.

In the theoretical section, officers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Quang Ninh Provincial Police) disseminated current legal regulations; guided the identification of specific fire and explosion risks in the coal industry; deployed proactive fire prevention measures.

Equipped with fire fighting techniques, rescue and escape skills in harsh conditions and limited space.

After the theory session, students participated in practicing the handling of hypothetical fire situations; practiced escape techniques and proficiently used on-site fire fighting equipment, especially fire extinguisher.

Training activities contribute to concretizing the "4 on-site" motto in fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue at the unit; helping workers improve their self-protection skills, protect assets, proactively respond to incidents; thereby contributing to ensuring production safety, stabilizing operations and maintaining the growth momentum of the coal industry.
