Trade unions monitor 2 enterprises on bricks, tiles and food

On June 25, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that the unit has supervised the implementation of legal regulations on collective bargaining and signing collective labor agreements and occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) at 2 enterprises including: My Xuan Construction Brick andyer Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as My Xuan Brick andyer Company - Construction materials manufacturing), and Long Phuoc Petroleum enterprise (trading in food and beverage services).

My Xuan Brick and Tile Company currently has 277 employees and 100% have signed labor contracts (of which 275 are indefinite contracts). The provisions of the law on negotiating and signing collective labor agreements have been well implemented and published for employees to grasp.

At Long Phuoc Petroleum Corporation, there are currently 407 employees and 100% have signed indefinite-term labor contracts. The provisions of the law on negotiating and signing collective labor agreements have been well implemented by enterprises.

According to the Provincial Federation of Labor, through the process of monitoring and working with enterprises, it shows that occupational safety and health work at enterprises has received attention; well implemented the provisions of labor law and occupational safety and health.

However, there are still some shortcomings that businesses need to overcome to better implement in the coming time such as: fully supplementing labor contracts according to regulations; the time to organize labor conferences needs to be implemented according to regulations in the agreement...
