Over the past time, trade union levels in Lam Dong province have implemented many propaganda activities to actively guide union members and workers towards the all-people festival.
In industrial parks, grassroots trade unions have coordinated with business leaders to arrange reasonable working hours, creating conditions for union members and workers to participate in full voting.
Many businesses proactively did not arrange overtime on March 15, helping workers have time to participate in elections according to regulations.
At Ham Kiem II Industrial Park in Ham Kiem commune, Lam Dong province, the grassroots trade union of Right Rich International Co., Ltd. implemented many forms of propaganda suitable to the production conditions of the enterprise. This is a grassroots trade union with more than 3,300 members, the largest among grassroots trade unions in Lam Dong province.
Through the internal loudspeaker system and direct propaganda sessions at workshops, trade union officials disseminate to workers about the meaning of the election, and at the same time provide specific instructions on voting time and location, as well as the rights and obligations of citizens when participating in the election.
Ms. Le Thi Diem Diem - Vice President of the grassroots Trade Union of Right Rich International Co., Ltd. - said that right from the beginning of March, the unit strengthened propaganda in many forms.
Through this, union members and workers better understand the rights and obligations of citizens when participating in elections, and at the same time encourage workers to actively participate in voting fully and in accordance with regulations," Ms. Diem Diem said.
According to Ms. Vu Thi Oanh - Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, to ensure that the election takes place democratically, in accordance with regulations and achieves high results, the Provincial Labor Federation has issued many documents directing and guiding trade unions at all levels to strengthen propaganda to encourage union members and workers to participate in the election.
In addition, the trade union organization also requested leaders of agencies, units, and businesses to coordinate in arranging reasonable working hours, creating favorable conditions for union members and workers to participate in elections and fully exercise their rights and citizens' obligations.
As a worker working at Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise (Lien Huong commune), Ms. Le Thi Binh said that thanks to the trade union and the business's coordination in propaganda, workers understand more about the meaning of the election.
