Training professional skills in trade union work for grassroots trade union officials
113 trade union officials have just been trained in trade union professional skills by the Vietnam Railways Trade Union.
The Vietnam Railway Trade Union (VNR) has organized a training class on trade union professional skills for grassroots trade union officials of railway units in the Northern region.
113 trade union officials from the group and department levels of 31 grassroots trade unions attended the Professional Skills Training Class.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union, directly attended and directed the professional training class.
According to the proposed program, trainees have been researched and trained in professional skills of 9 topics directly related to the functions and tasks of the trade union organization, such as the content and methods of operation of the head of the trade union group, the chairman of the department's trade union; trade unions participating in building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace; labor contracts and the role and responsibility of trade unions; trade unions with occupational safety and health...
In particular, the trainees were directly implemented by the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union on the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 17th Congress of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union.
By active learning methods, strengthening interaction and question-and-answer between trainees as well as between trainees and reporters, the professional skills training class has achieved positive results, trainees have been supplemented with knowledge and trained in skills to handle and resolve specific situations in trade union organization and activities, participating in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the end of the training class, the trainees participated in tests and assessments in the form of direct Q&A, and as a result, 100% of the trainees were granted certificates of completion of the learning program by the Vietnam Railways Trade Union.
