The monthly health insurance premium is determined according to the percentage of the salary used as the basis for compulsory social insurance contributions according to the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance (monthly salary) or the reference level according to the provisions of the Law on Health Insurance, specifically:
The monthly health insurance contribution level of relatives of cadres and soldiers of the People's Police is equal to 4.5% of the reference level.
The State budget ensures health insurance contributions for relatives of cadres and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces receiving salaries from the State budget.
Method of health insurance payment: In the first 15 days of each quarter, the police unit and locality shall transfer the quarterly health insurance payment funds of relatives of cadres and soldiers of the people's police to the social insurance agency where the health insurance card is issued.
No later than December 31st, the transfer of health insurance premiums for that year must be completed.
