Ministry of Finance responds to regulations on promoting accountants in kindergartens
On the Government Portal, the Ministry of Finance has just responded to readers' questions about regulations on accounting promotion in kindergartens.
Reader B.T. L. H is Accountant Grade III at a public kindergarten. In the 2024-2025 school year, she had an initiative and experience recognized by the City People's Committee.
According to reports, Ms. H fully met the conditions on working time, qualifications, certificates and excellently completed her tasks in the 2 consecutive years before the promotion consideration year.
Ms. H asked, according to Circular No. 66/2024/TT-BTC, are you eligible to be considered for promotion from Accountant (rank III) to Chief Accountant (rank II)?
Answering this issue, the Ministry of Finance said that Article 7 of Circular No. 66/2024/TT-BTC dated September 6, 2024 of the Minister of Finance regulating titles, codes, professional standards, professional titles in the specialty of accounting and the consideration for promotion from Accountant to Chief Accountant in public non-business units has specifically stipulated the standards and conditions for considering promotion.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance requested Ms. H to study the above regulations and contact the department in charge of personnel organization of the unit to be guided to implement them in accordance with regulations.
