6 beneficiaries of specific support policies for e-commerce development

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:
Clause 1, Article 10 of the Law on E-commerce (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates that beneficiaries of specific support mechanisms and policies for e-commerce development include:
a) Business households and individuals with creative startups;
b) Cooperatives and cooperative unions operating in the production and processing of agricultural products and traditional industries;
c) Small and medium-sized enterprises owned by women, enterprises employing many workers with disabilities;
d) Individuals who are ethnic minorities;
e) Organizations with headquarters, individuals residing in mountainous areas, border areas, islands, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions, especially difficulties as prescribed by law.
Thus, from July 1, 2026, the above subjects will enjoy specific support mechanisms and policies for the development of e-commerce.
