On the afternoon of December 30, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai had a working session with Nam Phat Shipbuilding and Maritime Transport Joint Stock Company on the investment proposal.

According to the proposal of Nam Phat Shipbuilding and Sea Transport Joint Stock Company, the unit will build a modern marine industrial complex, with a scale of about 50 hectares, with a total estimated investment of VND 2,000 billion.

The project focuses on 3 main areas: Building new and repairing high-tech ships; Developing logistics and logistics services for seaports; Mechanical processing to serve key projects in the province.

The project is expected to create jobs for about 1,000 workers. At the same time, promote the supply chain and apply 4.0 technology to production.
