Ca Mau is about to build a 2,000 billion VND shipbuilding complex, creating 1,000 jobs
Ca Mau - That is the Nam Phat Shipbuilding, Mechanical and Logistics Industrial Complex Project in Nam Can Economic Zone, in Nam Can Commune and Dat Moi Commune.
On the afternoon of December 30, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai had a working session with Nam Phat Shipbuilding and Maritime Transport Joint Stock Company on the investment proposal.
According to the proposal of Nam Phat Shipbuilding and Sea Transport Joint Stock Company, the unit will build a modern marine industrial complex, with a scale of about 50 hectares, with a total estimated investment of VND 2,000 billion.
The project focuses on 3 main areas: Building new and repairing high-tech ships; Developing logistics and logistics services for seaports; Mechanical processing to serve key projects in the province.
The project is expected to create jobs for about 1,000 workers. At the same time, promote the supply chain and apply 4.0 technology to production.

Mr. Lam Van Bi - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province - assigned the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board as the focal point, coordinating with departments and branches to support businesses in carrying out procedures related to planning, land and legality according to regulations.
Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai affirmed that Ca Mau province is always ready to welcome, accompany and create favorable conditions for truly capable enterprises to learn about and implement projects in the area.
The Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee said that in the context of the province's transport infrastructure being invested in synchronously, especially the expressways connecting the region, Ca Mau has many advantages to develop large-scale industrial projects, especially in the fields of marine economy and logistics. However, the project implementation process must strictly comply with legal regulations, ensuring requirements on national defense, security and planning.
