Ca Mau workers working in communes 15km away from home receive financial support
Ca Mau - Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies, organizations, and administrative units working at the Commune-level Administrative Centers after the reorganization are supported.
On September 16, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province officially submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and issuance of a Resolution to support workers working in the commune.
The support level for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers with a distance from home to work of 15km or more includes: Travel expenses of VND 480,000/person/month; Rental expenses of VND 840,000/person/month; Housing expenses of VND 500,000/person/month (total support level is VND 1.82 million/person/month).
For cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers with a distance from home to work of less than 15km will be supported with VND 500,000/person/month. The support period is from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
According to the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province, through coordination with localities, the number of cadres affected by the change of workplaces (shifting from provincial-level agencies and units to commune level; district-level agencies and units to commune level; commune-level administrative centers to new commune-level administrative centers) is quite large.
Meanwhile, the basic salary of most cadres is still low, self-payment of travel and living expenses will face many difficulties, so there needs to be a policy to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies and organizations in administrative units to carry out work arrangement at commune-level administrative centers after the arrangement in the province to work with peace of mind, contributing to stabilizing the organization of the commune-level administrative apparatus.
It is expected that about 5,900 people will be supported, with a total support cost of 6 months, with an amount of over 43 billion VND.
Previously, in order to promptly support cadres from Bac Lieu to Ca Mau working due to the merger of provinces, the People's Council of Ca Mau province issued Resolution No. 01/2025/NQ-HDND dated July 1, 2025 to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Bac Lieu to Ca Mau working due to the merger of provinces with 2.22 million VND/person/month.
