Ca Mau - The Provincial Federation of Labor is preparing to organize an advanced model conference for workers and civil servants in the period of 2020 - 2025.
Ahead of the conference, on September 9, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor Huynh Ut Muoi said that in the period of 2025 - 2030, the patriotic emulation movement among employees will arouse the patriotism of workers, civil servants, and laborers; promote internal resources, enthusiasm in emulation in studying, working, and labor production, contributing to removing difficulties in production and business and work, pushing back negativity, creating many new high-quality, new products, works, and models; in order to successfully implement socio-economic goals in the locality and each agency and unit.
After merging Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces, the total number of grassroots trade union organizations and grassroots trade unions in Ca Mau province is currently 462 units. Of which, there are 165 grassroots unions in public service units, 206 grassroots unions in enterprises, 13 FDI enterprises, 7 grassroots unions in cooperatives and 71 grassroots unions.
The total number of union members is 46,022 people: in public service units is 16,200 people; in enterprises is 23,022 people; in FDI enterprises is 4,441 people, cooperatives are 196 people; in the informal sector there are 2,163 union members.
