Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province receives sponsorship for students at the beginning of the school year

Ca Mau - At the program, 150 bicycles and 15,000 notebooks were given to students in 15 communes and wards.

On August 30, at Minh Hai Guest House (Bac Lieu Ward, Ca Mau Province), the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province and the Association for the Promotion of Education organized a program to receive sponsorship for students in difficult circumstances, preparing for the new school year.

Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; Mr. Pham Minh Luyen - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Dang Tri Thu - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau; representatives of departments, branches, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards and representatives of sponsors.

Vo Van Kiet Education Promotion Fund received 100 bicycles from Chau Thoi 620 Concrete Joint Stock Company and 240 million VND and 30,000 notebooks from Soc Trang Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. At the program, 150 bicycles and 15,000 notebooks were given to students in 15 communes and wards, each place received 10 bicycles and 1,000 notebooks. This is the second program organized by the Ca Mau Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education to provide timely support to disadvantaged students before the new school year.

According to the Association for Promoting Education, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Association mobilized the Education and Social Protection Promotion Fund with 19.3 billion VND, awarding nearly 3,000 scholarships to poor students.

To prepare for the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education continues to mobilize businesses and philanthropists to support 500 bicycles and 45,000 notebooks for disadvantaged students

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Nguyen Van Khoi acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education in the past time.
