Ca Mau spends over 556 billion VND to resolve policies for retirees and unemployed people
Ca Mau - There are 533 people who have quit their jobs at one time (phase 4), the province plans to spend over 556 billion VND, on average each person receives more than 1 billion VND.
News from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on August 10, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province issued a decision on settling the cost of implementing the regime and policies for people on leave according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP dated March 15, 2025 of the Government (4th period of 2025, old Bac Lieu province).
According to the decision, the amount of money spent on early retirement and termination of employment is 556,466,702,729 VND. In which: 303 people retire early with a total cost of: 352,023,029,756 VND; 230 people retire with a total cost of: 204,443,672,964 VND.
The decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also clearly states the source of money to spend, including: career revenue of the unit and other legal revenue: VND 41,191,030,694; salary reform source of the management unit: VND 295,607,142; additional central budget source: VND 514,980,064.
