Summary of Party work in the first 6 months of the year, deployment of tasks for the last 6 months of 2019
On July 11, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a conference to review the Party's work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2019. Comrade Tran Thanh Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Confederation chaired the Conference. The conference was attended by comrades: Vu Duc Nam, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Bloc, Comrade Bui Duc Viet, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Bloc, Comrade Ngo Duc Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor, and comrades in the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, Inspection Committee, Secretaries of Party Committees and Party Cell under the Party Committee of the General Confederation.
In the first 6 months of 2019, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor focused on implementing the Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to all levels of trade unions, union members and workers; Focus on improving the effectiveness of the implementation of the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; organize propaganda activities to celebrate the major anniversaries of the country and the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; focus on building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Tran Thanh Hai requested and emphasized: the greatest political task of the Trade Union organization is to concretize the targets and tasks set by the 12th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; The ideology of Party members must focus on issues that are measurable, measurable, and measurable, and must be expressed by external actions through specific actions in trade union activities; the spirit of building a strong trade union organization needs to be more drastically "how to do so that when it is born, other trade unions are no longer a fertile land for operation".
Comrade Vu Duc Nam, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Bloc, suggested that the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor focus on improving the quality of Party cell activities in the spirit of Resolution 01-NQ/DUK; strengthen inspection and supervision of Party work in Party committees and Party cells; focus on political education, grasp the ideological and ethical situation and lifestyle of Party members; fifth, direct and guide Directive 35CT/TW on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress and Directive of the Party Committee of the Bloc on leading Party Congresses at all levels towards the General Confederation Party Congress.
At the Conference, Comrade Tran Thanh Hai presented the 30-year Party membership badge to Party member Tran Ngoc Quang - Party cell of the Trade Union Institution Project Management Board.
