The Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a conference to review the work of the Party in the third quarter

The conference was attended by Comrade Ngo Duc Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Confederation, Secretaries of Party Committees, Party Cellices of departments and units under the General Confederation.

Presenting the draft report on the results of the third quarter work and deploying key tasks for the fourth quarter of 2022, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duc Tuan said that in the third quarter, the world and regional situation continued to have complicated developments, inflationary pressure increased, affecting the production situation of some units employing a lot of labor. In the country, the Covid-19 epidemic situation continues to affect people's lives and jobs, and has a certain impact on workers.

The Party Committee of the General Confederation continues to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Central Committee, the Party Committees of the Central Agencies, and coordinate with the Party Delegation of the General Confederation to focus on leading and directing Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members to advise on organizing well the political tasks and Party building work.

With the theme "Taking care of jobs and life for workers; striving to complete the highest goals and tasks of the Resolution of the XII Congress of Vietnam Trade Union", besides regular tasks, Mr. Ngo Duc Tuan said that the work of the fourth quarter will focus on contents such as, continue researching, thoroughly and implementing the resolutions, conclusions, the Central Committee of the Central Committee; Continuing to direct the Party Committee and Party cell to implement and implement Plan No. 32-KH/DUK dated August 26, 2021 of the Party Committee of the Party Committee; Direct the branches and Party Committees to implement thematic activities in the fourth quarter of "Content, meaning, importance and new points of the Regulation No. 37-QD/TW, October 25, 2021 of the Central Executive Committee stipulating what party members must not do"; consolidate and supplement the Deputy Secretary, Member of the Editorial Board, the Executive Committee, Member of the Party Committee of the Party Committee of the General Youth Union for the term of 2020 - 2025; Directing and guiding the branches and party committees to summarize the year, evaluating and classifying party organizations and party members in 2022.

Concluding the conference, Party Secretary and Permanent Vice President of the General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai outlined key tasks that need to be focused on in the fourth quarter, such as the Party Committee of the General Confederation leading its departments and units to strive to complete the tasks in 2022. Specifically, focus on taking care of Tet for employees; lead units to prepare the 2023 plan well; the cultivation, self-training, and preservation of the qualities and ethics of party members must be given top priority; review the personnel of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation and its affiliated units.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai presented the 40-year party membership badge to Comrade Ngo Duc Tuan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor and presented the 30-year party membership badge to Comrade Nguyen Duy Vu - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the General Confederation.
