Considering and giving opinions on the introduction of personnel to run for National Assembly deputies

On the afternoon of January 8, in Hanoi, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly Standing Committee to review and give opinions on the introduction of personnel to run for National Assembly deputies (NADs) to work full-time at the 16th tenure at the Central level.

At the Conference, delegates reviewed and agreed to introduce 145 candidates to the Central Executive Committee for the 16th term, including those who were introduced for re-election and first-time candidates, as a basis for holding a Conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace.

At the same time, notify individuals to implement the procedures for candidating for the 16th full-time National Assembly Delegation at the Central level.

At the conference, the National Assembly Party Committee Standing Committee and the National Assembly Standing Committee also reviewed and appointed the Assistant to the Politburo member and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

Concluding the conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man assigned the Standing Committee of the Delegation Work Committee to coordinate with agencies to continue reviewing the dossier and completing the notice document of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the list of candidates recommended for the 16th National Assembly Delegation to work full-time at the Central level.

Notify agencies and individuals to collect voters' opinions at workplaces and implement procedures for candidate documents for the 16th National Assembly Standing Committee to work full-time at the Central level to ensure progress according to the provisions of law; complete the Resolution on appointing the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Chairman requested the Chairman of the Ethnic Council, Chairmen of the National Assembly Committee, and Chairmen of the National Assembly Office to be responsible for the personnel of the agency they introduced.

For businesses participating in the candidate, it is recommended that the Delegation Work Committee send them to the competent authorities for appraisal and evaluation in accordance with regulations with the spirit of being the right person, the right job.

In addition, the National Assembly Chairman assigned the National Assembly Office to coordinate with the Delegation Work Committee to organize a conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace for the nominated candidates working in the agencies of the National Assembly.
