General Secretary To Lam and his wife attend the 50th Anniversary of Lao National Day Ceremony

VNA reported that on the morning of December 2, 2025, in the capital Vientiane, General Secretary To Lam and his wife attended the 50th Anniversary of the National Day of Laos (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025) and the 105th Anniversary of the birth of President Kaysone Phomvihane.

General Secretary To Lam and his wife are on a state visit to Laos, attending the 50th Anniversary of the Lao National Day Ceremony and co-chairing the High-level Meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

On December 1, during the talks between General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, the two sides agreed to take the Vietnam - Laos relationship to a new height: Great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, strategic solidarity.

This is a testament to the common vision, coordination for strategic benefits and planning directions for mutual progress for sustainable, strong development and common prosperity of the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
