Hanoi - General Secretary To Lam and leaders of the Party and State met with people and workers to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day and the 80th anniversary of National Day.

This morning (September 31), in Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission - chaired a meeting with delegates of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, revolutionary veterans, pre-upgrade cadres, generals, and heroes of the People's Armed Forces to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
