General Secretary To Lam visits the Department of Internal Political Security - Ministry of Public Security
General Secretary To Lam visited and met with officers and soldiers of the Department of Internal Political Security (Ministry of Public Security) this morning (July 28).
This activity coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day.
Accompanying the General Secretary were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc. Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security.
Originated and trained in the revolutionary struggle of the nation, through the process of fighting, building and maturing, the Internal Political Security force has continuously grown strongly from the Central to the local levels.
Since its establishment, the Internal Political Security Force has achieved many outstanding achievements and feats in the cause of protecting the Party, protecting the regime, maintaining National Security, contributing to beautifying the traditional heroic flag of the Vietnam People's Public Security.
In particular, in the period of national renewal, the Internal Political Security force has contributed to maintaining internal stability, protecting the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and proactively preventing and neutralizing plots and activities of hostile forces, internal sabotage reactions, serving the country's development and international integration.
In response to new requirements and tasks, the Internal Political Security force has proactively advised the Party and State to issue many directives, resolutions and regulations in the field of internal security protection and advised and guided Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations from the central to local levels to effectively organize implementation, contributing to raising revolutionary vigilance, overcoming the ambiguity and lack of vigilance of a number of cadres, party members and people.
Recognizing the results and achievements achieved in the past term, the Internal Political Security Department has been honored to receive many noble awards from the Party, State, Government, and Ministry of Public Security, such as: 1 Military Exploit Order; 11 Medals of Merit of various ranks; 16 Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 292 Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security and other ministries and branches; Department 4 collective was awarded the Government Emulation Flag in 2023, 2024; 12 individuals were awarded the title of "Emulation Fighter of the entire People's Public Security Force"...
