On January 13, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Head of the Organizing Subcommittee for the 14th National Congress of the Party (14th National Congress), chaired the preliminary approval of the organization work for the 14th National Congress.

The Standing Secretariat directly inspected the main hall where the 14th Congress took place and a number of functional rooms serving the Congress, giving comments on the following contents: Exhibition space in the main hall; decorations at the center of the main hall; Press Center; security work; sound and lighting systems...

Concluding the preliminary review, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of all agencies and units that have performed well the assigned tasks, basically completed the plan and met the set requirements.

"All work has been clearly stated in the project. It is necessary to clearly identify what has been completed, what must continue to be implemented and refined. To ensure that it can be completed by 12pm tonight at the latest so that we can review it tomorrow morning" - the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested.

thoroughly grasping some specific tasks, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested to complete the decoration of the ceremony, sound, lighting... at the main hall and the exhibition space in the main hall according to the design model and updated instructions at the preliminary review, ensuring harmony, solemnity, and compliance with rituals.

The Standing Committee of the Secretariat stated that all remaining contents and work must be completed by the end of January 13. The Press Center is ready before the Opening Ceremony and International Press Conference on the 14th National Party Congress on the afternoon of January 14.

Emphasizing the requirement to ensure absolute security and safety, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu suggested that the Central Party Office and agencies, units and forces participating in serving the Congress continue to closely coordinate to complete the final stages, ready for the General Rehearsal of the organization of the 14th National Party Congress taking place on the morning of January 14, ensuring the contents are in accordance with the plan.

Reporting at the preliminary review, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Public Security - said that up to now, all forces and technical means have focused on the National Convention Center to carry out the task of ensuring security and safety for the Congress.

"The Minister of Public Security has issued a decision to make the National Convention Center a particularly important target for national security from January 1 and the decision will expire on January 30 - after the 5-day Congress," said Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung.

The Ministry of Public Security has coordinated with the Ministry of National Defense and other forces to deploy synchronously, carefully survey all areas and works around the National Convention Center, compare the protection plan of the 13th National Party Congress and have appropriate regulation and supplementation of forces and means to ensure absolute safety for the 14th National Party Congress.
