Ensuring security and safety at the highest level at the 14th National Party Congress

On January 12, Hanoi City Police (CATP) held a conference to disseminate and implement the overall plan for arranging forces to ensure security and order for the 14th National Congress of the Party.

At the discussion session, representatives of the Command Committees of functional departments reported on the tasks and progress of the overall Plan.

The contents focus on ensuring traffic safety and order, preventing and fighting all types of crimes; managing residence, especially for foreigners; ensuring fire prevention and fighting safety; protecting network security and environment, resolutely handling acts of taking advantage of technology and artificial intelligence to distort and sabotage the Party and State, causing public panic.

The conference agreed to require units to deploy tasks according to the motto "clear people, work, tasks, time, responsibilities"; ensure the highest level of security and safety but not affect the normal daily life and travel of the people; strengthen close coordination and harmony between forces, not allowing complicated situations, even the smallest ones, to arise.

Concluding the Conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of CATP - emphasized the consistent requirement in ensuring security and order of the 14th National Party Congress to maintain stability, strictly implement the motto "normal outside, tight inside"; ensure smooth traffic, contributing to building the image of the Capital as a safe, civilized and friendly.

The Director of CATP requires units to synchronously operate professional measures during the implementation of tasks, increasing awareness of the situation early, from afar, from the grassroots and in cyberspace; the Deputy Directors of CATP directly direct according to the assigned fields and areas, promptly handle right from the grassroots, not allowing "hot spots" to arise.

Emphasizing that this is a particularly important moment for ensuring national security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung requested the entire capital's police force to promote experience from the protection of the A80 Anniversary - an event that has been recognized and commended by leaders at all levels and the people; flexibly, creatively and synchronously apply measures, proactively prevent, promptly deter, strictly handle violators, absolutely do not let any negligence occur.

Immediately after the conference, the Director of Hanoi City Department requested units to urgently disseminate and deploy the Master Plan to all officers and soldiers; unify awareness and action, uphold the sense of responsibility, and be determined to excellently complete the task of absolutely protecting the security and safety of the 14th National Congress of the Party - for political stability and peace of the Capital and the whole country.
