The Prime Minister requested the application of science and technology to develop the defense industry
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed and promoted research and application of science and technology to develop the defense industry.
On the afternoon of September 27, in Hanoi, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Government working delegation had a working session with leaders of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense at the General Department of Defense Industry.
Attending the meeting were: Politburo member, Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; leaders of ministries and branches.
At the meeting, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and leaders of the General Department of Defense Industry reported the results of leadership, direction, and implementation of all aspects of the work of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department on the development of the defense industry.
Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the preparation work of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Defense Industry for the meeting.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister acknowledged and commended the outstanding results and achievements in the first 9 months of 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Defense Industry.
Analyzing the domestic and international context and situation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed to promote research and application of science and technology to develop the defense industry, contributing to the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
