Prime Minister visits and encourages journalism to serve the 14th National Party Congress

On the afternoon of January 20, during the break of the 14th National Party Congress, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and encouraged cadres, reporters, and editors working at the Congress Press Center.

Visiting reporters about working and living conditions during the Congress, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested that priority should be given to creating the best conditions for press work activities.

In particular, providing full infrastructure for press operations, both in communication and working conditions, ensuring the most favorable press operations, so that the press can inform promptly, fully, accurately, richly and vividly about the Congress.

In particular, the Prime Minister suggested that the press focus on informing about the main contents and new points of the Congress such as integrating reports into a report; the report presented by the General Secretary at the opening session was very concise, focusing on the main points, new points, issues that need to be done immediately, demonstrating action, practicality, closely following the situation; especially the breakthroughs as General Secretary To Lam emphasized at the opening session of the Congress: The vision must be strategic, the thinking must be breakthrough, the action must be drastic.

The Prime Minister requested that, along with information about the 14th National Party Congress, the press should reflect the joyful and exciting atmosphere of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life for the important political event of the country and the nation; and at the same time, be ready to effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress right after the Congress was a great success.

Also on January 20, General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Lai Xuan Mon visited and encouraged reporters and editors at the 14th National Party Congress Press Center.

The 14th Congress Press Center is located right next to the main hall - where the 14th National Party Congress is held. The center is organized and operated scientifically and methodically, with modern facilities, techniques, equipment conditions, high-speed internet connection, more than 150 laptops, ban computers, printer equipment, fax machines, 10 large TV screens, creating the best conditions for working activities, reporting to the Congress. This is also the place where press conferences and reporters meet, discuss, interview... about the Congress.

At the Center, in the past 2 days, nearly 600 reporters and technicians from 113 domestic press agencies and nearly 100 reporters and press assistants from 43 foreign press agencies, overseas Vietnamese reporters, reporters from various parties and interested parties attended the Congress.
