Nghe An State budget revenue in 2025 will reach nearly 30,000 billion VND
Nghe An - At the end of 2025, the State budget revenue in Nghe An province will reach VND29,211 billion, equal to 164.8% of the estimate and increase by 14.3% compared to 2024.
On January 2, according to information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, at the end of the 2025 fiscal year, the budget revenue structure will continue to record the main role of domestic revenue, reaching VND 27,097 billion, accounting for a large proportion of total budget revenue. Revenue from import-export activities reached 1,981 billion VND; aid revenue was 14 billion VND; revenue from mobilization and sponsorship was 119 billion VND.
Last year, the province set a target of domestic revenue (excluding land use fees and lottery fees) of VND13,955 billion; revenue from land use fees of VND10,270 billion; revenue from import-export activities of VND1,650 billion. In reality, many important indicators have been completed and exceeded the plan, creating a clear mark in the management of collection, exploitation and nurturing sustainable revenue sources.
Notably, this result was achieved in the context of Nghe An continuously being affected by natural disasters in 2025, especially storms No. 3, 5 and 10, causing great damage to production, business and people's lives. This shows the great efforts of the entire political system in managing socio-economic development.
With the budget revenue approaching the 30,000 billion VND mark, Nghe An has completed the target of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, in which the budget revenue target for 2025 is from 26,000-30,000 billion VND.
Entering the new phase, the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, determines the target of increasing the State budget revenue in the area by an average of 12% or more per year.
Specifically this orientation, the Resolution on the 5-year financial plan for the 2026-2030 period, approved by the Provincial People's Council at the 35th Session at the end of 2025, sets a target of total budget revenue for the entire period of about 148,000-149,000 billion VND, of which domestic revenue is about 137,000-138,000 billion VND, revenue from import-export activities is about 10,000-12,000 billion VND.
