Time and place for the troop handover and reception ceremony in Hanoi

On February 25, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang signed and issued Plan No. 70/KH-UBND inviting leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Hanoi City Military Service Council; Heads and agencies of the Command Headquarters to attend and direct the army handover and reception ceremony of communes and wards in 2026.

The ceremony will take place from 8 am on March 4, 2026 (Wednesday, January 16 of the Binh Ngo year), ensuring solemnity, safety, thrift and timely encouragement for citizens to enlist.

Accordingly, the city organizes troop handover and reception ceremonies at 8 troop handover points under the Regional Defense Commands, including:

- Military transfer point No. 1: PTKV 1 Command - Soc Son

- Troop receiving point 2: PTKV 2 Command - Phuc Tho

- Troop receiving point 3: PTKV 2 Command - Phuc Tho

- Military receiving point No. 4: PTKV 3 Command - Hong Ha

- Military receiving point No. 5: PTKV 3 Command - Hong Ha

- Military receiving point No. 6: PTKV 4 Command - Gia Lam

- Military receiving point No. 7: PTKV Command 5 - Thanh Oai

- Military receiving point No. 8: PTKV Command 5 – Thanh Oai

Leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city attended and performed the traditional fire lighting ceremony, raised drums to open the enlistment festival and spoke to encourage young people to enlist at each point.

Also attending were Heads and officials of the Hanoi Capital High Command, Hanoi City Police and representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and sectors.
