Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan was introduced as a candidate for the Hue City People's Council

On January 13, Hue City Police held a conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace on those recommended to run for the Hue City People's Council delegation, term 2026 - 2031.

At the conference, delegates were thoroughly informed of the purpose, meaning, and requirements for collecting voters' opinions in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies; at the same time, clarified the standards for People's Council deputies in the new situation.

The conference announced a list and summary of the biographies of those expected to be introduced as candidates. Accordingly, the list of candidates for the Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term includes 1 comrade, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Hue City Police.

With a democratic, objective and responsible spirit, 100% of voters attending the conference were highly unanimous, considering comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan as an outstanding cadre with strong political will, practical capacity and close attachment to cadres, soldiers and people.

Immediately afterwards, Hue City Police continued to organize an expanded City Police Leadership Conference to collect comments on those recommended for the nomination. As a result, the delegates voted 100% in agreement to introduce Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan as a candidate for the Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term.

The conference was organized in accordance with procedures, ensuring democracy, publicity and transparency, contributing to the good implementation of personnel work to serve the election of People's Council delegates at all levels in the coming time.
