Tay Ninh focuses on solving infrastructure limitations and improving staff capacity

On November 24, in Ben Luc commune (Tay Ninh province), Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the working delegation had a working session with the provincial leaders on the situation of production, business, public investment, import-export, infrastructure development, social housing, progress of national target programs and implementation of the 2-level local government model.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam and leaders of departments and branches.

Director of the Department of Finance Truong Van Liep said that in 2025, the province's socio-economic situation will record a clear recovery, basically completing the general goals with many outstanding results. Agricultural production maintained a fairly good growth rate, while the industry - construction sector continued to play a driving role.

The province also accelerates the disbursement of public investment capital, maintains a high disbursement rate and is often in the leading group in the country. Cultural and social fields are stable; social security policies are fully and promptly implemented; people's lives continue to improve. These results help Tay Ninh gradually move towards the double-digit growth target in 2025.

Regarding the operation of the 2-level local government, after nearly 5 months of implementation, the new apparatus has operated stably and smoothly, without creating legal gaps and ensuring timely settlement of administrative procedures for people and businesses. However, the locality still faces some limitations in infrastructure, technology and human resource quality.

At the meeting, provincial leaders recommended that the Government soon hand over the medium-term public investment capital plan for 2026 - 2030; support the central budget for anti-landslide embankment projects; remove difficulties in implementing the 2-level government model.

In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged the positive results in socio-economic development and government operation of the province. The Deputy Prime Minister requested Tay Ninh to continue to resolutely implement solutions to achieve the highest growth rate, complete the double-digit growth target; at the same time, effectively implement the strategic breakthrough resolutions of the Politburo such as Resolutions 57, 59, 66, 68,...

Regarding the organization of the two-level local government apparatus, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that localities need to pay attention to the arrangement and evaluation of staff, ensuring suitability with tasks in the new period; prepare well for the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han said that Tay Ninh province is determined to complete and exceed the socio-economic targets for 2025, especially the double-digit growth target to create a premise for faster and stronger development in the coming time.
