In 2026, the content of amending regulations on the number of Deputy Commanders of the Military Command (CHQS) at commune level, the Military Command of agencies and organizations will be proposed.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra has just signed a decision promulgating Resolution No. 66.12/2026/NQ-CP of the Government on the organization and operation of the Military Commands of communes, wards, and special zones under the Provincial Military Command, centrally-run cities, Hanoi Capital Command, and Ho Chi Minh City Command.

Based on the requirements of national defense and military tasks and the organization and operation of agencies and organizations, the Commander of the Hanoi Capital High Command, the Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City High Command, and the Commander of the Provincial Military Command consider and decide to appoint no more than 2 Deputy Commanders at the request of the head of the agency or organization.

Previously, Decree No. 220/2025/ND-CP dated August 7, 2025 stipulated the number of Deputy Commanders and assistants of the Commune-level Military Command as follows:
