Quang Ngai - Member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet highly appreciated the province for doing well in preparing for elections.

On February 10, a working delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee - National Election Council led by Politburo Member, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the National Election Council, supervised and inspected the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Quang Ngai province.

At the working session, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet highly appreciated Quang Ngai province for doing well in election preparation, especially personnel structure, consultation, taking opinions on residence, and election propaganda. According to a report by the Quang Ngai Provincial Election Commission, the whole province has 4 units to elect National Assembly deputies to elect 11 deputies; 21 units to elect People's Council deputies to elect 66 deputies and 683 units to elect commune-level People's Council deputies to elect 1,982 deputies.

The whole province has 1,546 polling stations, 1,546 constituencies. By 5:00 PM on February 1st, the Provincial Election Commission had received 22 applications for election to the 16th National Assembly and 120 applications for election to the 14th Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term; there were no self-nominated National Assembly deputies and provincial People's Council deputies for the 2026-2031 term.
