Quang Ngai allocates more than 73.6 billion VND to take care of union members and workers

On January 21, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit had just held a conference to evaluate the results of trade union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in 2025; and set out directions and tasks for 2026.

In 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province have allocated more than 73.6 billion VND to take care of Tet for over 143 thousand union members and workers; supported the construction and repair of 120 "Union Shelters" with a total cost of more than 5 billion VND.

In addition, grassroots trade unions have spent over 13 billion VND to care for and give gifts to union members, workers and laborers on the occasion of the country's major holidays; coordinated with enterprises to organize "Union Meals" for more than 4,200 workers and laborers, with each meal worth from 50,000 VND to 85,000 VND.

The work of developing union members and building trade union organizations continues to be identified as a key task. In 2025, the whole province admitted 5,033 new union members; established 16 new grassroots unions and 3 union unions at the commune and ward levels; introduced 573 outstanding union members to the Party Committee for consideration of admission, thereby achieving and exceeding the targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

With the achieved results, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor was classified by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee as having excellently completed the tasks in 2025.
