Quang Ngai: Some receive a Tet bonus of 205 million VND, others only 1 million VND
Quang Ngai - The 2026 Tet bonus fluctuates strongly, from 1 million to more than 205 million VND/person, reflecting the large gap between businesses.
On December 25, Ms. Dinh Thi Tra - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province said that the Department has just reported to the Department of Salary and Social Insurance, Ministry of Home Affairs on the implementation of salaries and bonuses in Quang Ngai province.
Accordingly, for enterprises with 100% state capital, the highest average salary is 41 million VND/person/month; the lowest is 2.5 million VND/person/month. The expected bonus for the 2026 Lunar New Year ranges from 1 to 11.5 million VND/person; the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year bonus ranges from 1 to 40.76 million VND/person.
In enterprises with state capital, the highest salary is up to 163 million VND/person/month, the lowest is 4 million VND/person/month. The expected Lunar New Year bonus is from 0.2 to 28 million VND/person; the Lunar New Year bonus is from 0.5 to 56 million VND/person.
The private enterprise sector recorded the highest salary of 46.2 million VND/person/month, the lowest was 3.5 million VND/person/month. The expected Lunar New Year bonus is from 0.1 to 46.2 million VND/person; Binh Ngo Lunar New Year bonus is from 1 to 84.5 million VND/person.
For foreign-invested enterprises alone, the highest salary is 119.43 million VND/person/month, the lowest is 3.86 million VND/person/month. The 2026 Lunar New Year bonus is expected to range from 0.1 to 100 million VND/person; the highest Lunar New Year bonus for Binh Ngo is up to 205.1 million VND/person, the lowest is 1 million VND/person.
In general, the salary, bonus situation in 2025 and the expected Tet bonus in 2026 in Quang Ngai province have a large gap between types of enterprises.
