Phu Tho will have headquarters for tax authorities and regional banks
According to the decisions, the headquarters of the Tax Department of Region VIII, State Bank of Region 4, and Social Insurance of Region XVIII will be located in Phu Tho.
As reported, the Ministry of Finance has just issued Decision No. 381/QD-BTC stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Tax Department.
According to this decision, the regional Tax Branch system is rearranged according to a three-level model, including 20 units nationwide, each unit is responsible for tax management for many localities.
In which, the management area of the Tax Department of Region VIII includes the provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, the headquarters will be located in Phu Tho province.
For the State Bank, the number of affiliated units will be significantly reduced, the branch system will be streamlined and the payroll will be streamlined.
One of the important changes is to streamline the local branch system. Instead of maintaining 63 branches in 63 provinces and cities, the State Bank will merge into 15 regional branches, each branch is in charge of many neighboring provinces.
According to the State Bank, this helps increase specialization, reduce administrative units, and learn from the management models of major central banks such as Germany, France, China, India, etc.
In which, area 4 includes the provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai and Yen Bai, which will have the headquarters of the State Bank in Phu Tho province.
The merger of branches will help optimize resources, reduce administrative costs and improve management efficiency.
Regarding regional Social Insurance, the Ministry of Finance recently issued Decision 391/QD-BTC stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Vietnam Social Insurance under the Ministry of Finance.
According to the decision, Vietnam Social Security is organized from the central to local levels according to a system of 3 levels: Central level (with 14 advisory units), regional level (under Vietnam Social Security is organized in 35 regions), district level (under regional Social Security).
In particular, the content specified in the Appendix issued with the above decision shows the list of names, headquarters and management areas of 35 Regional Social Insurance.
With the Social Insurance of the 18. regional area managing the two provinces of Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho, the head office will be located in Phu Tho.
Thus, Phu Tho will be the headquarters of 3 regional-level agencies and units: Tax Department of Region VIII, State Bank of Region 4 and Social Insurance of Region XVIII.
