According to the decision, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet is the Head of the Steering Committee; Deputy Heads of the Committee include the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Director of the Provincial Police and the Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
The Steering Committee has the participation of leaders of many departments, branches, judicial agencies, finance, military, press and related units.
The Steering Committee is responsible for researching and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directions and solutions for building, developing, integrating, synchronizing, sharing and exploiting data; ensuring effective connection between the province's database and national and specialized databases.
At the same time, the Steering Committee helps the Provincial People's Committee direct, urge, and inspect the implementation of goals and tasks related to data in the area.
Son La Provincial Police are assigned to be the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee, responsible for advising, coordinating activities and proposing the establishment of a Working Group when necessary.
